Zendaya stuns in vintage John Galliano dress while Jennifer Lopez dons busty black gown

Zendaya and Jennifer Lopez brought their fashion A-game as they arrived to Vogue editor Anna Wintour‘s pre-Met Gala dinner in New York City on Sunday. 

The Dune actress, 27, and the Hustlers star, 54, are the co-chairs for this year’s Costume Institute Gala along with Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth, who were also present. 

Zendaya opted for a breathtaking vintage John Galliano gown, from his 1998 ‘Haute Bohemia’ collection.

The clingy, semi-sheer white dress featured a mesh top with pink butterfly embellishments, and the star paired the look with white heels. 

Meanwhile, Lopez put on a busty display in a low-cut black gown that highlighted her ample cleavage.  

Zendaya wore her light brunette, collarbone-length bob down in a voluminous, bouncy blowout hairstyle.

To go with the pink floral details on her chic dress, the Dune actress opted for a monochromatic and rosy makeup look. 

In contrast with her feminine and lacy dress, Zendaya rocked a dark, long manicure. 

As she stepped out of her vehicle and arrived at the venue alongside her stylist Law Roach, she was greeted with fans.

At one point, the Euphoria alum was seen taking a moment to stop and chat with her fans as well as sign autographs despite the downpour.

J.Lo — who is another co-chair alongside Zendaya — was also seen arriving around the same time in her fabulous, all-black ensemble. 

The Marry Me actress showcased her incredible figure in a sexy, velvet gown with a unique strapless neckline. 

Her stunning dress was adorned with massive, dazzling rhinestones as well as black feathers. 

She wore a pair of peep-toe, satin heels with skinny straps around her ankles.

To highlight the sexy silhouette and her décolletage, Lopez pulled her honey-toned locks into a sleek ponytail.

The singer also accessorized with dangling, diamond statement earrings to go with the sparkly details of her dress.

Her clear-manicured hands were bedazzled with a flashy diamond ring and a shimmering bracelet fastened with a black strap.

For makeup, she looked radiant and sun-kissed in a sultry, bronze makeup look featuring a glittery smoky eye and a perfect glossy pout. 

Chris Hemsworth, who is also a co-chair at this year’s gala, was spotted arriving hand-in-hand with his wife Elsa Pataky, 47. 

The Thor star, 40, and the model were a stylish pair as they made their way into the party in coordinated, iridescent looks.

Hemsworth looked dashing in an all-black outfit with a blazer jacket adorned with a glittering animal-print design.

His deep blue, statement jacket matched his wife’s sparkling purple blazer.

For the rest of his look, Hemsworth wore a black, satin button-down with straight-leg trousers featuring stripes down the sides. 

He also sported shiny, patent leather Chelsea boots to complete his look. 

And for a fun pop of color, the handsome star wore a pair of orange-tinted, silver-framed aviator sunglasses.

At his side, his supermodel wife donned a lavender, satin button-down blouse with her crocodile-embossed, metallic blazer jacket. 

She wore matching, purple micro shorts and completed her look with black sandal heels with a gold chain T-strap. 

Pataky was also seen carrying a crocodile-embossed, black leather clutch with gold hardware.

Also spotted making a fashionable arrival at the pre-Met dinner was Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny, 30.

The rapper put on a stylish display as he modeled a beige T-shirt with a black blazer coat on top. 

The dashing musician wore black, baggy trousers, shiny dress shoes and arrived carrying a leather tote.

He accessorized with a single, latex half glove as well as a black baseball cap and oval-shaped glasses. 

Sienna Miller, 42, was also seen on arrival, looking like a stylish pair alongside her boyfriend Oli Green, 27. 

The Anatomy of a Scandal star put her long pins on display as she modeled a boxy, forest green minidress with a large lily flower sitting atop her one-shoulder strap. 

To match the floral detail of her dress, she wore white pumps as well as sheer, black tights. 

She left her platinum blonde tresses down in effortlessly chic beach waves. 

She accessorized minimally with delicate gold bracelets. 

As she made her way into the venue with her beau, he carefully guided her with his hand on her lower back.

At her side, Green looked handsome in a slightly unbuttoned, white button-down, which he paired with a classic black blazer, matching dress pants and patent leather boots. 

Former Late Night host James Corden, 45, was another star making a stylish arrival alongside his wife Julia Carey. 

He dressed sharp as he sported an all-black suit with a pair of iridescent, green oxford shoes as the standout piece of his outfit. 

His longtime wife wore an incredible, floral-embossed minidress in a metallic gold material. 

Over the high-neck dress, she wore a matching coat and completed her look with black strappy heels and a chic clutch. 

The Costume Institute’s spring exhibition falls on the first Monday in May every year and is held at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.

This year the event is titled Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion while the dress code is The Garden of Time.

The honorary chairs for the evening are Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew.

‘This year’s co-chairs reflect a variety of career achievements, and all have distinct style histories with the Met Gala,’ Vogue shared.

The showcase will feature approximately 250 items drawn from The Costume Institute’s permanent collection – with many of the pieces too fragile to ever be worn again.

The pieces will all be displayed using elements such as AI, GCI, and more while playing up themes of land, sea, and sky.

‘It is very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,’ said Andrew Bolton, Wendy Yu Curator in Charge of The Costume Institute, of the upcoming exhibition.

‘One thing I hope this show will activate is that sensorial appreciation of fashion.’

Guests expected to attend include the Kardashians, Blake Lively, Hailey Bieber, Sarah Jessica Parker and Timothee Chalamet.

Gwendoline Christie, La La Anthony and Ashley Graham are hosting while YouTuber Emma Chamberlain is expected to interview stars on the red carpet.

Last year’s gala honored late designer Karl Lagerfeld.
