Welcome back to the Soul of Sport. For the latest episode of the series, KEVIN QUIGLEY travelled to London’s York Hall to capture another night of brilliant boxing at the iconic venue.
Originally built and opened for business in 1929, the venue has grown to become an international boxing stage with plenty of legendary fighters going on to write themselves into the history books of York Hall.
Queensberry Promotions staged the main card on Saturday evening that concluded with English fighter Sam Noakes reigning victorious over Yvan Mendy on points to win the European lightweight title.
Other combatants took to the ring for what was an enthralling evening of action as thousands crammed themselves inside the intimate venue to watch every punch thrown.
