Royal Television Society Awards 2024: Stacey Solomon looks radiant in rose gold strapless


Stacey SolomonJodie Whittaker and Hannah Waddingham lead the stars attending the Royal Television Society Programme Awards 2024 at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Tuesday. 

Loose Women host Stacey, 34, ensured all eyes were on her as she arrived to the event in a rose gold strapless gown with a flowing train.

The dress highlighted the presenter’s jaw-dropping figure while she styled her platinum locks into loose curls for the evening.

Stacey was joined by her husband Joe Swash who looked dapper in a classic black three-piece suit and tie.  

Time star Jodie, 41, put on a leggy display for the bash as she arrived in a navy sleeveless midi dress with a pleated hemline.

The garment also featured a high collar while Jodie added colour to her outfit with a pair of chunky orange heels.

Styling her blonde tresses into an updo, the Doctor Who star added to her look with a multi-coloured clutch bag and a pair of hoop earrings.

Hannah looked radiant in a black figure-hugging mini dress with a plunging neckline.

The Ted Lasso star, 49, who is nominated for Entertainment Presenter for hosting the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, cinched her waist with a matching belt.

Opting for a pair of black heels, Hannah complimented her look with a gold clutch bag. 

Meanwhile, Kym Marsh looked sensational in a black mini dress with pale pink tasselled sleeves which she wore with matching tights.

The former Coronation Street star opted for a pair of black heels and wore her brunette tresses in loose waves.

The Royal Television Society Awards celebrate the best TV Britain has to offer.

 BBC dramas Happy Valley and Time emerged victorious at the Royal Television Society Awards at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Tuesday.

Happy Valley, which stars Sarah Lancashire as Sgt Catherine Cawood and James Norton as murderer Tommy Lee Royce, beat out The Gold and Top Boy for the Drama award.

‘It’s game changing, top-of-the-class drama,’ said the jury. ‘Sometimes operatic in scale, but attentive to the tiniest detail.’

Time star Tamara Lawrance took home the Leading Actor – Female award for her role in the prison drama with the jury praising her ‘deep, layered performance’. 

Bella Ramsay was also recognised for their work in Time, winning the Supporting Actor – Female award over fellow nominees Jasmine Jobson for Top Boy and Ronkẹ Adékoluẹjo for Time. 

Another big winner on the night was Hannah Waddingham who took home the Entertainment Presenter award for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.

It wasn’t the only gong the contest won as it also received the Live Event award.

Stacey Solomon took home the award for Formatted Popular Factual show for her BBC series Sort Your Life Out which sees the presenter and her team transform people’s homes.

Alex Scott was honoured with the Sports Presenter award where she was nominated against Gabby Logan and Nasser Hussain.

Meanwhile, Chris Packham received the Presenter award for his programme Inside Our Autistic Minds with the jury praising him for his ‘charisma and directness’. 

Kenton Allen, Chair of the RTS Programme Awards, said: ‘2023 was an outstanding year for UK creativity, and the nominations we have announced today highlight the breadth of genre-defining, exceptional programming that British audiences have enjoyed over the last 12 months. 

‘Despite the unpredictable times our industry currently faces, we at the RTS welcome the opportunity to come together as a creative community and celebrate the hard work and incredible talent, on and off camera, that makes sensational shows for audiences here and on the global stage.’
