New footage shows Travis Kelce shutting down any talk of retirement after he was filmed telling Patrick Mahomes he could ‘do this another 11 years’ as they celebrated the Chiefs’ AFC title win.

Kelce scored two touchdowns in a dominant performance on Sunday as Kansas City punched its ticket to the Super Bowl with a 17-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Kelce, in his 11th season with the Chiefs, endured a largely underwhelming regular season but has hit form at the right time in the playoffs.

Last week, former NFL sideline reporter Michelle Tafoya claimed that Kelce would follow his brother Jason into retirement at the end of the year.

In a new bonus episode of the brothers’ ‘New Heights’ podcast last week, Travis didn’t seem ready to let go of football anytime soon.

‘I haven’t found something outside of football that’s going to challenge me like playoff football,’ he said.

‘And I don’t know if I’ll ever find that. And that’s one of the things that’ll make me play this game until the wheels fall off.’

‘It’s an energy and an excitement that I haven’t found anywhere else in the world, and it’s something that I definitely cherish,’ he added.

On Sunday he once again hinted that he’s got plenty left in the tank as he celebrated with Mahomes in Baltimore.

Kelce embraced his quarterback and said: ‘I love you, boy.’

Mahomes replied: ‘This never gets old, man.

Kelce responded: ‘Hell naw! It makes you feel younger, baby. I could do this another 11 years. Baby, let’s go!’
