Kate Hudson promoted her soon-to-be-released single Talk About Love by sharing a sweet video on her TikTok account on Friday morning.

In the clip, the 44-year-old actress was joined by her daughter Rani Rose, five, as they lip-synced along to the track, which is set to make its official debut next Tuesday.

The performer – who does not ‘force’ her healthy lifestyle on her kids – and her youngest child also donned sets of floral-printed pajamas as they built excitement for the song’s release.

Hudson initially revealed that she was embarking on a musical career in a post that was shared on her Instagram account last April.

The actress’ singing abilities have been displayed in several of her past projects, including How to Lose a Guy In Ten Days and Nine.

At the time, she wrote a short statement to let her fans know that she had ‘finally realized it’s time to say f#%! it and saaaannngg!!!!!’

The Almost Famous actress went on to speak about her new project during an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that aired last December.

During her time on the show, the performer expressed via People that she had been writing music ever since she was 19, although she had ‘never shared’ her songs with the public.

Hudson then stated that the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic reignited her interest in starting a musical career and remarked that she did not want to miss out on her chance to express herself through music.

‘I just thought that would be one of my great regrets. I have no expectations. I just want to put a record out, and so I’m doing it. And I’m really proud of it. I can’t wait,’ she said.

When pressed for information regarding her upcoming album’s release, she stated that it would come out at an unspecified date in 2024.

Variety announced that Hudson had signed a management deal for her musical career with Jason Owen and Sandbox Entertainment earlier this month.

The performer also issued a statement in which she wrote that ‘writingS this album over the past year and a half has been the most gratifying and immersive experience.’

She added: ‘Music has always been my touchstone. To finally feel ready to share mine is deeply personal to me, almost like a musical memoir.’ 

Hudson went on to share the cover art for Talk About Love on her Instagram account on Tuesday.

The Academy Award-nominated performer also included a snippet of her soon-to-be-released track in her post.

She wrote that she was ‘beyond excited’ to release her debut single in her post’s caption.
