Olivia Newton-John’s cousin Tottie Goldsmith makes huge announcement about tribute


Tottie Goldsmith has made a surprise announcement about her late cousin, Olivia Newton-John. 

The actress, 61, told The Sunday Project that she will be part of a special concert in tribute to the legend, who died last year. 

Called Hopelessly Devoted: A Celebration of Olivia Newton-John, it will be hosted by Tottie and take place at at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall in March. 

‘In March, some of Australia’s brightest musical talents together with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, will celebrate the life and legacy of Olivia Newton-John,’ the website explains. 

Tickets are between $81-$139 for standard seats and $76-$134 for concessions, with dates through March 7 to 9.

Tottie told the program that some of the proceeds from the event will go to Olivia’s cancer charity, Walk for Wellness. 

‘It’s going to be so beautiful, and it will really help the hospital,’ she said. 

It comes after Olivia’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi put on a brave face as she attended her mother Olivia Newton-John‘s annual Walk for Wellness in Melbourne‘s Alexandra Gardens on Sunday, alongside her cousin Totti. 

The US-based singer, who recently flew into Australia to attend the cancer research fundraiser, was seen walking at the front of the crowd arm-in-arm with Totti and stepfather John Easterling, 71.

Also spotted in the crowd was Chloe’s husband James Driskill and Sunrise host Matt Shirvington

After completing the 5km walk, Chloe and Totti took to the stage to share a tribute to Olivia, who died in August 2022 following a 20-year breast cancer battle. 

Chloe is Olivia’s only child, born in 1986 from her first marriage to actor Matt Lattanzi.

Olivia died at age 73 at her home in Santa Ynez, California on August 8 last year.

She fought several brave battles against cancer and after first being diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, which was successfully treated and went into remission, but it later returned in both 2013 and 2017.
